If you want your tweets retweeted, you have to do 2 basic things: get your followers' attention and make it easy for them to retweet you. From the time I started on Twitter I've worked hard to do these two things and, though it took a while to build, I'm very pleased with my resulting rate of retweets. Here are 12 tips I use on a daily basis to ensure that my tweets are as retweetable as possible.
As most of you know, I'm very big on community. Why? Well I guess I just think you get more done and have more fun doing it in a community.

Last week's Event Camp Twin Cities set out to help bring innovation, collaboration and experimentation to the events industry landscape and, as a participant, it was easy to see this at every turn.
Wow! I just got back from this wonderful conference which was truly one of the highlights of the year for me. My brain is still processing all the amazing information, experiences and connections from the rich, creativity-nurturing environment there.
When I first met Susan Radojevic on Twitter last year, it was apparant that she was a highly articulate and intelligent woman with a commitment to convincing executives of the value that meetings and events hold for businesses. Her career combining financial management with business experience in the events industry had taught her that there was a critical need for sharing forward-thinking business intelligence.

I read a blog post today that got me thinking. It was written by Keith Johnston on his blog Event Industry Thoughts. In it, he talks about how, despite our best efforts to put a happy face on it, the economy is not recovering and the events industry continues to suffer with no end in sight.
