My top eight takeaways from Event Camp East Coast

I attended Event Camp East Coast Nov. 12 & 13 in Philadelphia, an unconference for events professionals born from the Twitter community #eventprofs. ECEC was the third Event Camp. Like the previous two, it offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with online #eventprofs friends and the content focused on innovation for events. But at ECEC,  the innovation focus wasn't on technology. It was on the conference format itself. Here are some things I learned.

I've been looking for a way to combine my passion for improv with my love of events for sometime. But as is usual with me, I have a hard time owning and acting on things I really feel passionate about. That's my fear of failure kicking in.
