Design innovator Debra Roth nominated for BizBash NY award

 

Debra Roth has been creating innovative fabric structures for events for the past 30 years.  As founder of Pink Inc. fabric designs, now Pink Powered by Moss, she broke new ground in many areas.  She is currently up for BizBash New York Designer of the Year.  Last year she visited my home town right after winning Event Solutions' Spotlight Supplier of the Year award. She talked a little about her secret for success.  In honor of her nomination, I thought I'd repost that interview here.

One thing you don't want to do when producing a large scale event is lose the impact of your presentation in a huge, crowded ballroom. Your lighting, decor and show may be undisputed art, but if your message gets drowned in noise, space and distractions, they won't help you.
